The Baldock, Hertfordshire-based business manufactures high-quality durable lamination plates, lamination pads, adhesives, and recycled plastic products for a wide range of manufacturing sectors including card manufacturing, printed circuit boards, and wooden furniture.
The business took delivery of the new 1.8x1.6m cutter last month.
Cardel CEO Marshall Haldane said: “After seeing a Titanium cutter in action running a job for Cardel at The Cut Factory, I was impressed so much that as soon as a machine became available, I agreed immediately to purchase it.
“The Titanium 1816 we have purchased will perform a range of existing functions onsite at Cardel and gives our company new capabilities in the precision markets within which we operate.
“The IGS team managed the installation and training for the new machine, including optimising for the specific production and material needs and tasks of our varied customer requirements.”
Supplied as standard with all Titanium cutters is a high-resolution registration camera which ensures cutting printed jobs accurately to register.
A range of tools are also supplied with each cutter, offering the speed, power, and flexibility to handle a wide variety of materials, such as corrugated, folding carton, solid board, foam, coating blankets, textiles, wood and a long list of plastics, according to IGS.
