KM launches upgraded AccurioPress |
Konica Minolta has announced upgraded versions of its popular AccurioPress C14000 and C12000 printers.
The new C14000e and C12000e models have a number of improvements based on customer feedback.
KM claims a market leading position in Europe for high-end toner devices, with more than 700 sold since the range was launched in 2019.
New features include upgraded frontend options via EFI’s Fiery Controller v2.1 to boost productivity.
The new firmware for the presses boasts “dozens” of software improvements and additions, including to the manufacturer’s IQ-501 auto quality adjustment (AQA) system.
KM category manager for professional print Malcolm Smith said the enhancements would help customers to expand and streamline their operations.
“This is achieved through advanced automation, fewer human touchpoints and higher productivity with tangible effects and less waste,” he said.
Smith described the range as “a significant success story” for Konica Minolta.
The 140ppm and 120ppm presses also have a range of inline automated finishing options.
Competition in the market for toner-based digital presses has ramped up with Fujifilm’s recent launch of its Revoria range in the UK.
