| Offset Print and Packaging Group orders Diana X |
Retail and transit packaging specialist Offset Print and Packaging Group has ordered a Diana X folder gluer from Heidelberg.
The purchase follows the install of a Bobst Starfold and two Grassi folders at its Aylesford, Kent plant.
Offset Print and Packaging Group’s Diana X has been supplied with the WH Leary Array six high-pressure glue application system, Diana Prefeeder and Diana Packer.
According to the company, the add-ons will optimise operator input and provide a high level of automation to speed up the process.
Offset Print and Packaging made the investment after it saw an increase in the amount of food packaging it was handling.
Director of operations Vince Brearey said: "Speed is the key in this volume-based sector. This facility will enable us to be much faster and the choice of the Diana X provides further guarantees to our customers of improved lead times, more consistent quality and a more competitive price."
The family-owned company has operated for 40 years and also works in the greetings card market as well as its bread-and-butter sector, food packaging
