| Kernow Coatings on the look out for new work after guillotine buy |
Kernow Coatings is on the look out for additional work after investing in a Schneider Senator 155H S-Line CT guillotine from Friedheim.
The machine is an upgrade on the Cornwall-based company’s previous Schneider guillotine, which is now 30-years old, and features a faster bed speed and increased work flow.
Converting works manager Len Brokenshire said: "Our customers request certain specs so we want to keep cutting within these. They are 100% reliable; we can’t fault those machines.
"We can’t take any chances with health and safety or be paying out for repairs and these category one machines are failsafe."
Kernow, which employs 75 staff, plans to offer new services within the reprographics and coating divisions in the near future.
