Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Printing Industry Development Forum and the Fourth Sodality of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Printing Industry were held

(Source: Chinese Graphic Arts Net) On March 11, 2011, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Printing Industry Development Forum and the 4th Sodality of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Printing Industry were held. This conference was sponsored together by Printing and Replication Industries Association of Guangdong, Hong Kong Printers Association and Macau Printers Association with subjects of speeding up the industrial structure adjustment upgrade and realizing scientific development, more than 400 distinguished guests from the Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan had attended the conference. PR Director of Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong Lin He’an and executive member Li Yucai had also been invited to attend the conference. The conference was hosted by chairman of Printing and Replication Industries Association of Guangdong Mr. Chen Jun, and deputy director of Administration of Press and Publication of Shenzhen City Madam Du Qin had addressed a welcoming speech.

Yang Guangrui: Promoting Green Printing, Upgrading Industry

Deputy Director of Administration of Press and Publication of Guangdong Province Yang Guangrui delivered a speech titled Promoting Green Printing, Upgrading Industry, the speech focused on the current development situation of printing industry, relevant national policies and detailed implementation, he also mentioned that Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan should take full their own advantages and cooperate together so as to promote the prosperity and development of printing industry.

Yang Jinxi: Printing is not only “printed out”, but also “figured out”.

Subsequently, chairman of Hong Kong Printers Association Yang Jinxi made a speech titled Printing is not only “Printed out”, but also “Figured out”. He mentioned that printing industry was a creative one which needs to explore new market and find growth points under the circumstances of saturation of traditional printing and fierce competition. He also took multi-industry material combination, such as multi-carrier wood glass porcelain multi-colored and multi- printing type, food packaging of moon cake and tea, anti-counterfeit of liquor and tobacco.

Zhou Shaoxiang: Transformation and Development Road of Macau Printing Industry.

Chairman of Macau Printers Association Zhou Shaoxiang had made a speech of Transformation and Development Road of Macau Printing Industry. He introduced the status about the development of Macau printing industry on the basis of the actual situation, and aimed to make great efforts to explore digital printing field and domestic printing market in the future; he also shared his experience and what he had learnt from transformation work with other conferees. 

Chairman of Shenzhen Printing Industry Association Tan Haohui: Integrating into International Standard, Speeding up Industry Upgrading.

Chairman of Shenzhen Printing Industry Association Tan Haohui delivered a speech with the title of Integrating into International Standard, Speeding up Industry Upgrading. According to Mr. Tan Haohui, printing enterprises now are under enormous pressure of survival because of the factors like the increase in value of raw material, labor cost and currency, thus the challenge and opportunities are coexisting. At present, business opportunities of emerging market like green printing begin to appear, therefore the enterprises should base on material, rely on equipment and take technology as the key, so as to achieve further development.

Xie Senshu is introducing the Second International Printing Technology Exhibition of China (Guangdong)

At last, General Manager of Dongguan China Print Show Company Ltd Mr. Xie Senshu made a special introduction about the 2th International Printing Technology Exhibition of China (Guangdong). It is learned that the exhibition area of Print China 2011 will be more than 120,000 square meters, 1,200 enterprises had signed up for the exhibition; and it is also anticipated that the number of visitors will exceed 120,000.

After the conference, the Fourth Sodality of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Printing Industry held a banquet to entertain conferees and distinguished guests.
