Fespa 2024 is hosting the new Sportswear Pro exhibition and the first Sportswear Pro conference.
The conference is on Thursday (21 March). It is being held in English, and will explore key themes including sustainability, automation and personalisation.
Fespa head of marketing and events Duncan MacOwan said the conference had been created in response to demand for greater insight into the shifts in sportswear production supply chains.
Sessions include Innovations in Materials and Fabrics for Sportswear with Paul Foulkes-Arellano, founder of consulting firm Circuthon; and Circular Economy Redefined – Designing for Circularity with Ana Kristiansson, founder and creative director at Desinder.
There will also be two panel sessions.
Sustainability in Sportswear will be moderated by Samantha Taylor, founder of The Good Factory.
The session is intended to explore topics such as material selection, scalable sustainable practices and on-demand production.
The second panel session is The Power and Potential of Customisation and Personalisation, a roundtable featuring circular economy innovation and strategy consultant Serena Bonomi and technical consultant James Lawrence-Jones.
They will explore the huge potential for customisation in sportswear and how to ensure customer satisfaction.
Tickets for the Sportswear Pro conference are priced at €295 and give unlimited access to both the conference and Sportswear Pro exhibition, as well as the rest of Fespa.
