The awards highlight the excellence of Australasia’s vibrant online retailing visionaries, with up to six finalists were announced in each category.
The categories include:
Australia Post People’s Choice Awards (Small Retailer under $100,000 annual revenue, Small Retailer over $100,000 and under $1m annual revenue; and Large Retailer over $1m annual revenue);
Best Pureplay Retailer;
Best Small Independent Retailer;
Best Multichannel Retailer;
Best Online Retail Marketing;
Best In-Store Initiative;
Technology Champion;
Customer Service Excellence;
Best Small Independent Retailer;
Best Social Commerce Initiative;
International Conqueror;
Hall of Fame;
Online Retailer of the Year, and
the Industry Recognition Award.
Adventure Snacks is among the finalists in the Best Small Independent Retailer category, while Naked Wines Australia is a finalist for Best Online Retail Marketing, and Lyre's Spirit Co for International Conqueror.
“The ORIAS are proving to be Australia’s showpiece e-commerce event. We’re thrilled that we can recognise retailers who are constantly adapting and evolving to ensure that they succeed in today’s modern marketplace,” said event director Matt Smith.
“The judges undertook a rigorous process to determine the finalists, and each entry was evaluated according to a number of exacting criteria.”

In its 12th year, the ORIAS will announced the 2021 winners at a gala dinner at the ICC on July 22.
