| Tulip Blooms with RPC Superfos |
RPC Superfos technology has enabled paint producer Berling SA to be the first in Greece to launch paint in plastic packaging with a sparkling metallic-effect label.
Paints in the Tulip series are now available in RPC Superfos SuperFlex and Paintainer containers with inmould labelling (IML).
The packaging and label were selected to enable the new range of paints to be positioned as a premium product and stand out on-shelf against competitors.
The market has reacted positively to the new packaging and Tulip is now one of Berling’s bestsellers.
Marketing manager Thalia Konstantinidi from Berling explains: "We decided to use the packaging from RPC Superfos mainly because we like the shape of it and the metallic effect of the label.
"It has an amazing visual effect and is very different from the packaging used by our competitors. Another key benefit is that the product can be placed as a superior product thanks to its packaging."
Berling is one of the biggest paint producers in Greece. The Tulip range includes emulsion, acrylic facade paint and water-based enamel. Berling was also the first paint company to be certified with an Eco Label for paint.
